Why I Switched to Fujifilm from Nikon
Are you a photographer on the fence about switching to Fujifilm? If so, this video is for you! Here at Gemini Connect, we're pretty obsessed with camera gear. We use a wide variety of tools from DSLRs and mirrorless cameras to even point and shoots and smartphones. Martin has been a photographer for the past 10 years beginning with a trusty Nikon DSLR. His longtime go-to camera was the Nikon D600 DSLR, which he used to capture many of these travel photos in Belize. Suddenly, he contemplated making a change.
Nikon to Fujifilm
Mirrorless cameras were becoming all the rage. From Sony and Olympus to Canon and Nikon themselves, every big camera manufacturer began setting its sights on the mirrorless market. After much debate, Martin decided to invest in the Fujifilm camera system. He started with the fixed lens Fujifilm x100s (currently the x100F) as a fun travel camera. Not long afterward, he upgraded to the Fujifilm X-Pro2. At this point, he completely sold his Nikon kit and went full on into the Fujifilm world. Now, he's making moves to get the new Fujifilm X-H1 which should be available in spring 2018.
Find out why Martin loves Fujifilm cameras and doesn't regret his move from Nikon in the video below.
